The following from SFC Daniel Schaut (wife Sharon & daughter Sara) RHHT, 3rd ACR Ft. Carson, Colorado.

"Ron, Thank you very much for the R & R; hospitality; friendship; food; fresh air; beautiful scenery; and everything else that I might have missed. What you are doing for the Veterans and their Families is "AWESOME" and we really appreciate it. Sure beats the hell out of sitting in the middle of the Iraqi Desert, eating MRE (meals ready to eat) in the middle of a sandstrom and getting shot at!!! I only hope I can help drum-up some support for you, so you can keep Operation "You Rolled-Thanks" going through next year to honor all the folks that are still over in Southwest Asia. .....Cherrie, Wayne, & Reggie, thank you for the good food, friendship, and praise! All in all, what we did, was part of our job. Some paid the ultimate price and we must never forget that! Sharon, Sara and I can't thank you all enough. We've had a very pleasant and relaxing stay"
Sincerely & Respectively,

From: Antonio Clement 4th LAR USMC Oceanside, CA and his lady friend Kari Montoure.

"Relaxing atmosphere!! Lots of fun & beautiful scenery. Time to spend with each other. We had such a wonderful & relaxing time. Allowed us to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy another beautiful piece of our country. Fishing, horseback riding, ATV's and relaxing all provided great fun. Thank you Ron for all your hard work and dedication and opening your Ranch to us.

From: Sgt. Larry Abeyta 4th LAR BN "A" Co. USMC, Oceanside, CA. and wife Julianne - sons, Jake and Lyle.

"The scenery, fishing, horseback riding, food, hospitality, "Jaybird" and having a wonderful family vacation. It was great that we were able to have a room with our children and Jaybird! The least enjoyable thing was the day we had to
leave"

Dear Ron,

Von and I want to thank you and Ruby for our wonderful vacation at the Eagle's Nest. You, Wayne, Cherrie, and "Jaybird" were superb hosts and hostesses. We also want to thank the many, many sponsors of the "Operation You Rolled - Thanks" program. Without yours and their kindness and support, we would not have been able to experience such a pleasurable vacation after our seven months of separation. We also want to thank you personally for finding us a "hunting partner" for the week, and thank Bill "Fergie" Ferguson for his fine hospitality and expertise in pursuing elk with a stick and string. We certainly would not have had a successful hunt without your commitment and his assistance.

The accommodations, meals, service and hospitality during our stay at the Eagle's Nest were first class. The beautiful countryside at the ranch, the evenings of fellowship around the dinner table and comfortable sleeping arrangements made for a truly special vacation. It is our prayer that you and the patriotic sponsors of "Operation You Rolled - Thanks" will continue to be blessed and that you are able to extend this program to many more Iraqi Freedom Veterans and their families.

With our sincerest thanks and our prayers for continued blessings upon you, Ms. Ruby, and all involved,

Daniel and Von Adkins
U.S. Army
Fort Gordon, Georgia

From Sgt. Joshua Lunning
Clarks Grove, Minnesota

Ron - I can't thank you enough for what you have done.
The Lodge, food and your help with our hunt was awesome!
More importantly though, your support for the American
soldiers goes unmatched. I hope in the future I can also show
more appreciation for our military. You set an outstanding
example for all to follow.

Your Lodge is as beautiful as the country it's in. The food was
excellent every meal, and your and Wayne's help with our Elk
is greatly appreciated. I look forward to the next time I come
to stay at your fine Lodge.

Thank you again,
Your Friend, (Signed) Josh Lunning

From SSgt Troy Spear and wife Samantha
Black Hawk, SD.

To: Ron, Cherrie, Wayne, and of course 'Jaybird' -

We cannot begin to express how much this vacation has
meant to us. We have been able to relax and spend quality
time together, luxuries we have not been afforded since
"Operation Iraqi Freedom" began!

We will certainly spread the word to others about the
beautiful place you have here. We thank you for your
gracious hospilality, and most of all, for making us feel like
family this past week. We have enjoyed our time here,
and hope to come back. May God Bless You and your
families with peace and love.

Signed: Troy and Samantha Spear

Following from David and Regina Bobak
(Navy Seabees NMCB 21) Hughesville, PA.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to give
us an opportunity that we will remember for a lifetime. Without
the sacrifice on your part, we would not have been able to
experience this beautiful part of our country. We deeply
appreciate you, your wife, staff, and all others who made this
possible.

It is comforting knowing the support is here for our
military. We enjoyed everything we did here, from catching
crawfish, to horseback riding and sightseeing. The hospitality
was wonderful. This was a unique and enjoyable experience.

Thanks again!

Signed: David and Regina Bobak.
